North Berwick Oxfam readings
We meet monthly in North Berwick in the lounge at the Blenheim House Hotel, on the first or second Friday of the month.
Our next themed meeting is on Friday 6 January and the theme is “ Animals”. Anyone is welcome to bring anything along they would
like to read, their own or others’, ancient, modern, comic, tragic… we always have a surprising time and have a collection with which we buy education
projects from the Oxfam Unwrapped catalogue. Over the 3 years we have been going we have trained numerous teachers,
and educated a lot of girls, bought quantities of books and desks, and had some fascinating evenings in the process.
We do not do criticism, preferring an entertaining time as befits a Friday evening!
Our next meeting is on Friday January 6 7.45 for 8.00 in the lounge in the Blenheim House Hotel.
