A message from our favourite Stephen Barnaby look-alike:
Well, with a total lack of imagination I’ll try and remember what I just wrote in the Facebook thing for this: something about how I’ll be welcoming autumn/winter/bloody freezing with dead leaves blowing everywhere time by vacating the floor in the back room of Stagg’s (AKA the Volunteer Arms behind the Brunton Hall in Muzzieburgh) in favour of Australian/New Zealandish/Bangladeshi/Musselburghian poetic static fully clothed burlesque sensation Jeff Kemp, who will have buckets of treats in store for you at Musselburgh’s own monthly open floor performance wotsit, where any rogue or vagabond can parachute in and do a song, story, tune, poem, farmyard impression, rugky haka – strictly in thst order – so if you’d like to do your thang mosey along at 7.30 to put your name down in Jeff’s book o’adventure or else be there for 8 to make up part of a warm, welcoming, cuddly mohair audience. A shiny new pound coin’s worth of contribution will make Jeff a very happy poetic bunny indeed, and that’s a sight you wouldn’t want to miss. Particularly his cute wee scut. Sorry, that was uncalled for. Anyway, mosey along on Sun Oct 7th and find out what our Jeff has in store for you…..lots of love
Stephen xxxx
